All Men Can Prevent Further Hair Loss

Even though women can suffer from hair loss, men are often the ones who experience the greatest amount of balding problems.

What can a man do if he's noticing his hair fall out? You really can't put your trust in prescription medications that are designed to supposedly reduce hair loss and grow more of it. They often are associated with a ton of side effects most men definitely would hate.

Also too many of the over-the-counter solutions that are applied to the scalp such as creams and liquids never really work as fast or effectively as expected.

Why Most Men Fail In Regrowing Hair

Most men fail to regrow their hair simply because they are not aware of the many things that are working against them, both internally and externally.

Internally all men are producing the hormone testosterone. This is a normal male hormone, however there is a bad side to this. Once testosterone has depleted, it is converted to a bad hormone called dihydrotesterone, often called DHT for short.

Now here's where the trouble starts. DHT binds to your follicle cells and starts to shrink them. If left uncontrolled, this will cause your hair to start falling out and getting thinner and thinner. Each new hair that grows in place of the fallen hair will be much weaker.

Eventually no hair will grow in that spot again. You most certainly don't want to ever get to this point.

How to Control DHT and Save Your Hair

Let's touch on a way to control DHT so that you won't run the risk of going bald. First you should grab some saw palmetto extract and start taking this herb daily. Scientists have been studying the proper amount of this to take for maximum benefits.

They have concluded that 1,500 mg per day is the effective dose. You may find that this causes upset in your stomach, so take it with food. Along those lines also try starting out with a smaller dose, then work your way up.
